How the work is organised
An appraisal runs from the first message on WhatsApp to a finished paper report.
Order of work
The process starts with a message on WhatsApp. We agree on the price after you send photos and a video of the damage. The contract is signed after the inspection, and you can pay in any convenient way, before or after the work.
The price depends on how many parts are damaged: from one or two parts to ten or more. Price tiers and other prices are on the Prices page.
The assessment needs the owner’s passport and the vehicle registration certificate. For an insurance case, we also need the details of the accident. We will confirm the exact list when you get in touch.
- Photos and a video of the damage, sent on WhatsApp.
- In-person inspection. If the car cannot be driven or is at an impound lot or a repair shop, the appraiser comes to it in Bishkek and the suburbs.
- A photo of every damage and a defect list: what is damaged and what needs replacing.
- Repair cost calculated at market prices for parts, labour and materials.
- A report on paper, in two copies, with the appraiser’s signature and stamp. 3–5 days from the inspection, up to 7 days for major damage.
What independent appraisal is
An independent damage appraisal is a calculation of what it costs to restore a car after an accident, made by an appraiser from outside: not an insurance company and not the repair shop. The appraiser inspects the car in person, photographs each damage and prices the repair at market rates for parts, labour and materials.
Market value appraisal is a different task, ordered when you need to confirm what the car is worth. The appraiser takes into account the condition, trim level, mileage and current market offers. The result is the same kind of document: an official report signed and stamped by the appraiser.
Do not start the repair before the appraisal: the damage has to be recorded in its original state.
Why the report matters for an insurance payout
An insurance company needs to see how the sum is built. That is why we prepare a full set of documents: the report and the damage calculation, photos, the defect list and a justification for every item. Preparing the documents is included in the price of the damage assessment.
The report is signed and stamped by the appraiser. If the insurer does not accept the report, we will redo it or help you dispute the decision.
