What an independent damage assessment is
An independent damage assessment is a calculation of what it costs to restore the car after an accident, carried out by an appraiser. The appraiser inspects the car in person, photographs every damage and prices the repair at market rates for parts, labour and materials.
The result is an appraisal report: a document with photographs, a defect list, the calculation and the total damage amount, certified with a signature and a stamp. The report is issued in two paper copies and is used when you apply to the insurance company.
It is important to do the assessment before the repair: the damage has to be recorded in its original state. After the repair the extent of the damage can no longer be confirmed.
What to do right after an accident
Four steps that protect your money when the damage is calculated. Nothing complicated, but the order matters.
File the incident the way your insurer requires. Without an accident record the damage calculation will not be accepted.
Shoot the car from every side and each damaged area separately, in daylight. These photos help even if the inspection happens later.
Damage has to be recorded as it is. Once the car is repaired, the extent of the damage can no longer be confirmed.
Message us on WhatsApp with photos — we will tell you which documents you need and when the inspection can take place.

What the appraisal report includes
Not just advice, but a document you can actually use: an official report for an insurance payout.
- Photographic record of the damage
- Defect list: what is damaged and what has to be replaced
- Cost calculation for parts, labour and materials
- Total damage amount
- Signature and seal of the appraiser
Along with the report you receive the document set for the insurer and a short consultation: what to do after the inspection and how to move forward with the claim.
Did the insurer calculate less than the repair costs?
Order an independent appraisal: we calculate the damage from the actual condition of the car and market prices for parts, labour and materials — without adjusting to the insurer’s expectations. You keep a document that justifies every line.

Documents and qualification
The appraisal is carried out by a specialist holding a category II movable property appraiser certificate. The company is registered in the Kyrgyz Republic.
