If you do not see your question here, write to us on WhatsApp. We will answer it directly and tell you what to prepare for the inspection.

Damage assessment

What does a damage assessment after an accident include?

A damage assessment is a calculation of what it costs to restore the car after an accident. It includes an in-person inspection, photos of the damage, a defect list and a repair cost calculation at market prices for parts, labour and materials. The result is issued as a report, which you can hand over to the insurance company.

What is a defect list?

It is a list of the parts that are damaged and the parts that need to be replaced, for example a bumper, a bonnet or a right wing. The defect list is drawn up after the inspection. It is part of the damage assessment and of the documents for an insurance payout.

How much does a damage assessment cost?

The price depends on how many parts are damaged: 1–2 parts — 4 500 KGS, 3–5 parts — 5 000 KGS, 6–7 parts — 6 000 KGS, 8–10 parts — 6 500 KGS, 11 or more parts — 7 000 KGS. Above ten parts the price does not rise. We agree on the price after you send us photos and a video of the damage on WhatsApp. Details and terms are on the “Prices” page.

Should the car be repaired before the assessment?

No repairs before the assessment. The damage has to be recorded in its original state, so leave the car as it is until the inspection. If you already have photos and a video of the damage, send them on WhatsApp straight away. If repairs have already started, tell the appraiser at the inspection.

How does the assessment work step by step?

First, you send us photos and a video of the damage on WhatsApp, and we agree on the price. You know the cost before the inspection. Then the appraiser carries out the in-person inspection: photographs the damage and collects the data for the calculation. The contract is signed after the inspection. From the inspection to the finished report it takes 3 to 5 days, or up to 7 days for major damage.

Documents and insurance payout

What documents are needed for the assessment?

The owner’s passport and the vehicle registration document. If there is an insurance claim, we also need the details of the accident. We confirm the exact list when you contact us.

What is needed for an insurance payout?

The appraisal report and the damage calculation, photos of the damage, the defect list and a justification for every item. The justification shows why each item is included in the calculation. We prepare these documents for the insurance payout.

In what form is the report issued?

Only on paper, in two copies, signed and stamped by the appraiser. The report is handed to you in person. Preparing the documents is included in the price of the damage assessment. The report contains the photos of the damage, the defect list, the calculation and the total damage amount.

Will the insurer accept your report?

The insurance company makes the decision on the payout, but we prepare the report specifically for a payout after an accident. If the insurer does not accept the report, we will redo it or help you dispute the decision. This is our guarantee.

What if the insurer underpaid?

You can order a damage assessment and get a report with a calculation at market prices for parts, labour and materials. You can then hand the report to the insurance company for a further claim.

Timing and payment

How long does the assessment take?

From the inspection to the finished report it takes 3 to 5 days if up to seven parts are damaged. If eight or more parts are damaged, it takes 5 to 7 days. The term is counted from the inspection, not from your first message. We confirm the exact term after the inspection. If timing matters to you, tell us right away and we will discuss whether it can be sped up.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, it is best to message or call in advance to agree on the time and format of the inspection. You can book on WhatsApp or by phone. Tell us the address where the car is and its condition, and send photos of the damage. If the car is at an impound lot, say so when you book.

What should I send on WhatsApp to get the price?

Photos and a video of the damage. We agree on the price based on them. Shoot in daylight: first the whole car, then each damaged area close up. If there is a lot of damage, send all the photos, not a selection. If there is an insurance claim, also send the details of the accident.

When is the contract signed and how can I pay?

The contract is signed after the inspection, so you can discuss the terms on WhatsApp in advance. You can pay in any convenient way, before or after the work. The choice of the payment method is yours.

How quickly can I reach you?

The fastest way is WhatsApp or a phone call: +996 707 55 93 55. We work from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00. WhatsApp is the most convenient, because you can send photos there too. You can ask questions about the price, documents and timing in writing before the inspection.

Market value and on-site visits

Can you appraise the market value of a car?

Yes. The appraisal takes into account the condition, trim level, mileage and current market offers. The official report is signed and stamped by the appraiser. Such a report is useful when you need to know what the car is worth on the market now.

What is the difference between damage assessment and market value?

A damage assessment shows how much it costs to restore the car after an accident. Market value is the price at which the car can be sold on the market in its current condition. These are different services, so the reports are different too.

How much does a market value appraisal cost?

The price starts from 4 500 KGS. For a rare car the surcharge is +2 000 KGS. The appraisal takes 3 to 5 days. We confirm whether the car is rare when we agree on the price.

Do you come to where the car is?

Yes, within Bishkek and the suburbs. An on-site inspection is needed if the car does not run, is at an impound lot or is at a repair shop. The appraiser goes to the place where the car is. For a visit we need an address and a time that suits you.

How much does an on-site visit cost?

A visit within the city adds +1 000 KGS. A visit to Dordoi, Magistral, Novopavlovka or Novopokrovka adds +1 500 KGS. A visit outside the city starts from +2 000 KGS. The surcharge is added to the price of the assessment. We state the exact sum when we agree on the visit.
